12.5 Months in the life of Nation19 / APDTA!

The last 12.5 months has been a busy time for us here at Nation19 /APDTA. We met so many dope people from around the world and we got a chance to be a part of the change that is happening globally among young people and artists. From walking through the streets that Pablo Escobar built in Medellín Colombia to living in a remote farming village in Inner Mongolia China to speaking at MoMA in NYC, we did allot…and we did it all in pursuit of truth and Unity.

Jesse Williams speech at the 2016 BET Awards may offend some people.

In case you missed it, Jesse Williams dropped so many gems in his acceptance speech at the 2016 BET Awards. “If you have no interest in equal rights for Black people then do not make suggestions to those that do, sit down” said Williams.

Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams has been very vocal about social injustices against the Black community. In his recent interview with The Guardian he speaks about his childhood “My parents were both activists and I really connected to the social justice movement. Growing up in Chicago, that was a big part of the community that we were in and the people that were in our house,” he says. “I also lived below the poverty line for my entire childhood.”

He also spoke on his Biracial look “To some people I might be a celebrity because I’m physically attractive. We are programmed to believe that someone is attractive because they told you that blue eyes are hot. I am not going to participate in that shit,” he says. “I aim to do what I can with what I have. And I have my [looks] – you know, European beauty standards give me access to things.”

Watch what he said at the BET awards here:

ROOTS is not the roots of black people (Snoop on Slavery movies)

So the lame people over at History Channel assembled a star studded cast (Forrest Whittaker, Lawrence Fishburn, T.I.) to regurgitate Alex Haley’s fairytale book and TV series Roots. But this time the people are boycotting this socially orchestrated tale of black suffering and white Masa’s sipping mint julep on the front porch. It’s interesting that History Channel has never created anything promoting black excellence before…why now…why this???

Let’s not forget Black Roots or Black History is actually endless and does not start when white folks stole us from Africa. Some of the roots of our past were found in Ethiopia dating back 3.2 Million years by Dr. Donald Johnson. This planet is scattered with the remains of the Nubian Dynasties of upper and lower Egypt, Mali, Timbuktu, Olmec, Pacific Islands, Moors, Asia and the other great and marvelous civilizations developed, engineered by very, very dark skinned people. (Not just African)

No slaves came from Africa. European Slave traders kidnaped farmers, architects, scientist, healers, astronomers, mothers, children, fathers. We were not slaves. Our Roots are the blackness of space and the universe it self…all life comes from darkness.

Here is what Snoop had to say about Roots.

You can get with this or you can get with that: Phylicia Rashad vs Andrea Constand

Back in the days there was a catchy rap song and the hook went like this “You can get with this or you can get with that.” We hate to compare people but this situation demands some critical investigation.  Above are two pictures of women. The one on the left is the beautiful actress Phylicia Rashad who worked with Bill Cosby on the most popular black TV show ever. Her role as Clair Huxtable on the sitcom The Cosby Show landed her an EMMY nomination in 1985 and 1986. Aside from acting Rashad graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University. With such an amazing woman around Mr Bill Cosby why would he not slip her a qualude and had his way. On every situation she defends him as a upright respectful man.

The woman on the right is the very manly Andrea Constand, an out LESBIAN ex basketball player from Canada. She accused Bill Cosby of drugging her with pills and sexually assaulting her in his home while she worked at Temple University. All criminal charges against Cosby in February 2005 were dropped due to a lack of evidence by Constand. When the criminal charges were not pursued, Constand launched a civil suit against Cosby in March 2005. Cosby settled that suit for undisclosed terms a year later. Andrea Constant is reported to have been living off that money she obtained from the settlement.

The logic doesn’t add up. Phylicia Rashad, the beautiful intelligent woman you are alone with for decades…no rape, no drugging, nothing but respect. But Andrea Constant, the manly not so attractive lesbian female jock, you drug, and assault? Cmon something doesn’t add up.

Here is a quote from Phylicia Rashad on ABC NEWS. “What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture,” she said. “This show represented America to the outside world. This was the American family. And now you’re seeing it being destroyed. Why?”

“You can get with this or you can get with that” – Blacksheep.

Bill Cosby’s innocence, Hollywood Pedophiles, and why all people don’t think alike.

While everybody is talking about accusations there are real rapist in Hollywood we should all be aware of, but mainstream media chooses to sweep their stories under the rug. On December 11th we published “Wilhelmina Model offered $15,000 to Destroy Bill Cosby Comes Forward” and received hundreds of thousands of views on our site and and close to two million views on Facebook. It appears that most people feel the Bill Cosby accusers could be a scam. While the major news outlets are hyping up allegations on Bill Cosby that are most likely not true… THERE ARE REAL RAPIST IN HOLLYWOOD!

Hollywoods best kept secret has been turned into a documentary Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Amy Berg. But this documentary is only the tip of the iceberg. We researched a few very powerful people in hollywood… here are a few.

nation19_apdta_700x49_Bill Cosby's innocence, Hollywood Pedophiles_woody2
Woody Allen

His movies are really funny but his family is not laughing. Recently (2014) he was awarded Golden Globe lifetime achievement award. His net worth is about $65 Million.

What they say he did and what he did:
Woody Allen’s ex Mia Farrow found naked pictures of their adopted daughter Soon-Yi among Woody’s belongings. After he breaks up with Mia Farrow Woody Allen marry’s the teenage Soon Yi at 56.

His other daughter
Allen had been in therapy for alleged inappropriate behavior toward Dylan Farrow (Mia’s other daughter) with a child psychologist before the abuse allegation was presented to the authorities or made public. Mia Farrow had instructed her babysitters that Allen was never to be left alone with Dylan. Allen was accused of molesting Dylan when she was 7 years old.
His daughter Dylan Farrow who accused him of molesting her wrote a full letter that didn’t get to much hype from the press. Here it is.

This is what Ronan Farrow (Woody Allen’s son who is a journalist w/ MSNBC/NBC) said after watching his Golden Globe tribute. (ouch!)

Brian Singer
Brian Singer

Brian Singer:
You might not know his name but you know his movies. The 49 year old director has a net worth of $70 Million and X-Men: Days of Future Past made close to a billion dollars worldwide since its release in May 2014. He is openly Gay and has been spotted on many occasions at wild gay parties with attendees such as Mogul David Geffen who is also gay.

Some of His Movies:
1995 The Usual Suspects
2000 X-Men
2006 Superman Returns
2011 X-Men: First Class
2013 Jack the Giant Slayer
2014 X-Men: Days of Future Past
1998 Apt Pupil *

What he is accused of doing:
Mr Singer has been accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy. The lawsuit filed in federal court in Hawaii, plaintiff Michael Egan, was 17 when he was forced to perform various sexual acts which include alleged forced oral and anal intercourse with Singer during the late-1990’s. The court papers allege Singer “manipulated his power, wealth, and position in the entertainment industry to sexually abuse and exploit the underage Plaintiff through the use of drugs, alcohol, threats, and inducements which resulted in Plaintiff suffering catastrophic psychological and emotional injuries.”

His Life imitating his Art:
In the film Apt Pupil, Bryan Singer filmed a shower scene at Eliot Middle School in Altadena, California on April 2, 1997, and two weeks later, a 14-year-old extra filed a lawsuit alleging that Singer forced him and other extras to strip naked for the scene. Two boys, 16 and 17-years-old each, later supported the 14-year-old’s claim. No charges were brought against the director. The films final scene shows the main character a 16 year old teenage boy blackmails his schools counselor into silence by threatening to accuse him of making inappropriate sexual advances towards him.

Roman Polanski
Roman Polanski

Roman Polanski:
Most of the homies in the hood have never heard of him but he is an Academy award winning Director with 81 awards and 51 nominations. He has a net worth of 45 Million and is currently directing a new movie in Poland.

Some of his Movies:
2015 The Stalking Moon
2002 The Pianist
1974 Chinatown
1968 Rosemary’s Baby *

What he did:
In March 1977, Mr. Polanski was arrested and charged in Los Angeles for drugging and rapping a 13-year-old girl Samantha Gailey five times. The actual charge was rape by use of drugs, perversion, sodomy, lewd and lascivious act upon a child under 14, and furnishing a controlled substance to a minor.

Instead of facing imprisonment Polanski fled to France in February 1978, hours before he was to be formally sentenced. Since then Polanski has mostly lived in France and avoided visiting countries likely to extradite him to the United States.

Pedophile sympathizer Hannah Slapper wrote “Roman Polanski’s lifetime achievement award reminds us that art should never be judged by the morals of the artist” in The Guardian in 2010. We wonder if she will say the same thing for Bill Cosby.

His Life imitating his Art:
Rosemary’s Baby is a 1968 Roman Polanski film about a woman whose husband signs a pact with the Satan-worshipping cult next door. Starring woody Allen’s Mia Farrow (kinda strange)

The film’s composer died of a brain clot one year after making the film, the same way a character in the film dies. Then producer William Castle suffered kidney failure soon after the film was made

But on August 9, 1969, while at home with friends, Roman Polanski’s wife Sharon Tate was murdered by the followers of Charles Manson’s gang in Los Angeles. Tate was eight months pregnant (kinda like the movie Roman Polanski did the year before) with Polanski’s baby at the time. Manson’s peeps stabbed her 16 times and murdered the four friends who were with her.

Common, Snoop Dogg, Jay Electronica, DJ Premier set to perform at the 9th Annual BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta!

Common, Snoop Dogg, Jay Electronica, DJ Premier set to perform at the 9th Annual BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta!

Surprisingly, this year the annual BET Hip Hop Awards has announced a list that will be quite interesting. According the CBS News and sources close to Nation19 Snoop Dogg will host the 9th Annual BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. BET will broadcast the ceremony on Tuesday, October 14th. This also marks the first National Television appearance of the illusive Rock Nation recording artist Jay Electronica.

Usually we don’t care much about award shows due to the fact of the unbalanced state of hip hop, R&B music and the corporate commercialization of both. But this seems like a great production.
Here is the official roster of rap acts to perform…
Common
DJ Premier
Jay Electronica
Birdman
DJ Mustard
Rich Homie Quan
Bobby Shmurda
Young Thug
Vince Staples
Migos
YG and Rae Sremmurd

Doug E. Fresh will join MC Lyte, LL Cool J, Salt-N-Pepa, Russell Simmons, and Grandmaster Flash as a recipient of the “I Am Hip Hop Icon Award.” The next big announcement will be which emcees will take part in the highly anticipated BET Cyphers.

The 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards will be taped on September 20 at Atlanta’s Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. The television broadcast will premiere on the network on October 14 at 8 pm ET.
