12.5 Months in the life of Nation19 / APDTA!

The last 12.5 months has been a busy time for us here at Nation19 /APDTA. We met so many dope people from around the world and we got a chance to be a part of the change that is happening globally among young people and artists. From walking through the streets that Pablo Escobar built in Medellín Colombia to living in a remote farming village in Inner Mongolia China to speaking at MoMA in NYC, we did allot…and we did it all in pursuit of truth and Unity.

We Beg Your Pardon Ex President Obama.

As we watched the last two presidential terms fly by we reminisced on how we were so hype to see the first Black Man take the highest office of the United States of America. But something is troubling about the blatant disregard for issues that affect Black, Native people, Muslims and Immigrants. President Obama, being a former community organizer on the southside of Chicago with a beautiful black wife and daughters just seemed like the real CHANGE we all longed for. But increased killings of black youth by police during his watch and more cops were not charged although video evidence existed. What happened Obama? We can’t forget what you did to The Great Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi who was referred to as the hope of Africa. How could all this happen…we don’t know but we are sure there is a hidden hand.

Below are a few people we hoped Obama had granted clemency, pardoned, or commuted because we are sure this will never happen under Trump.

Marcus Garvey

The iconic black nationalist and civil rights advocate died in 1940, but his son and several black activists have been in recent weeks urging Obama to issue a posthumous pardon for Garvey’s 1923 conviction for mail fraud, which they say was trumped up. “The point is the injustice has been allowed to sit for [almost] 100 years. It is a continuing injustice that needs to be corrected,” said his son Dr. Julius Garvey.

Mumia Abu-Jamal

Jamal had his death sentence for murdering a Philadelphia police officer commuted to a life sentence. But his supporters have always argued about the circumstances around his conviction, including whether there was sufficient evidence to prove he shot the officer, whether all potential witnesses testified and the racial makeup of the jury.
Abu-Jamal became a cause célèbre when he was facing execution and has even written books from prison.
Obama, however, does not have the authority to commute state convictions, according to the Department of Justice. Abu-Jamal would have to be pardoned by the governor or some other state panel.

Assata Shakur

Shakur was convicted of killing a New Jersey State Trooper 43 years ago. Born Joanne Chesimard, she was a leader in the Black Liberation Army. Shakur was serving a life sentence when she escaped from a New Jersey prison 1979.
Activists such as Angela Davis have argued that Shakur was prosecuted “under highly questionable circumstances.” The National Lawyers Guild, which represented Shakur in her final trial said five members of the 15-person all-white jury had personal connections to state troopers.

“The judge cut funding for additional expert defense testimony after medical testimony demonstrated that Ms. Shakur—who had no gunpowder residues on her fingers, and whose fingerprints were not found on any weapon at the crime scene—was shot with her hands up and suffered injury to a critical nerve in her right arm, making it anatomically impossible for her to fire a weapon,” the National Lawyers Guild said in a statement on a now shuttered Change.org petition to pardon Shakur.

Leonard Peltier

Peltier is a Native American activist who has spent more than 40 years behind bars for killing two FBI agents during a shootout on a South Dakota reservation. He has maintained his innocence. After two other members of the American Indian Movement were acquitted of the killings, Peltier’s supporters believes others were coerced into testifying that Peltier was the shooter. They also say that ballistics evidence that would have cleared Peltier was withheld. “The only thing I’m guilty of is struggling for my people. I didn’t kill those agents,” Peltier said in an Amnesty International video.

Undocumented Immigrants / Muslims

Donald Trump has threatened to deport millions of undocumented immigrants, build a wall on the Mexican border and possibly force Muslims to join a registry. According to experts, Obama could pardon undocumented immigrants for a variety of crimes such as overstaying a visa and crossing the border illegally. The pardon would not grant undocumented immigrants citizenship, only Congress can do that, but it could help put them on a path to citizenship.

Ramsey Orta

Mr. Orta came to us at Nation19 Magazine to spread the word about his case…we did what we could on social media but Obama could have wiped it all away.
Here are the facts: Two years ago, Eric Garner died in Staten Island after officers wrestled him to the ground, pinned him down and applied a fatal chokehold. The man who filmed the police killing of Eric Garner, Ramsey Orta, is now heading to jail for four years on unrelated charges—making him the only person at the scene of Garner’s killing who will serve jail time. The Police were never charged for Mr. Garner’s death. Orta took a plea deal on weapons and drug charges. He says he has been repeatedly arrested and harassed by cops since he filmed the fatal police chokehold nearly two years ago.

Bonus: Edward Snowden

Experts believe Obama could issue a pre-emptive pardon for Snowden as some have urged him to do for his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in case she is indicted for her e-mail scandal.

More than a million people signed a petition asking Obama to pardon the former NSA contractor who revealed a massive U.S. intelligence surveillance operation to spy on Americans without a warrant.

Swowden has been granted asylum in Russia and faces the death penalty if convicted of stealing government secrets. But in a letter to Obama seeking a pardon for Snowden, Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union, Salil Shetty, secretary general of Amnesty International, and Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, all said Snowden was a “human rights hero” who had acted “to hold governments to account when power is abused” by turning the information over to journalists.

“As you well know, Snowden disclosed information to journalists revealing that the NSA had overstepped U.S. statutes, the Constitution, and international law by engaging in widespread, warrantless surveillance. In response, we’ve seen a global debate that has changed government policies and profoundly affected how people think about personal privacy,” the three leaders wrote.

Hillary Clinton

Sike…just kidding. lol

Brussels, Belgium airport attack False Flag / Hoax?

Earlier today it was reported there was a terrorist bombing in Brussels, Belgium which has since been blamed on ISIS via CNN and major news media outlets. Is this yet another hoax, put on by the Freemasonry controlled Western Governments of the world, for the sake of scaring the people and blaming it on the false middle eastern boogie man known as “ISIS”?

Watch this video and let us know what you think….

What we learned at Trump’s rally in Arizona.

Yesterday we decided to attend the Phoenix (actually Fountain Hills) rally for Presidential hopeful Donald Trump. He was joined by Arizona’s Sheriff, Joe Arpaio who has not been favorable toward the Mexican community. We saw all the reports of clashes with Trump supporters and protestors on the news so we were prepared for a crazy day. Below is a play by play of what happened and what we learned.

    1. To be official or not: We decided to be official so we got tickets in advance. Fortunately the tickets were free and we loaded the tickets on our iPhone Passbook app. Later we found out that they only allowed certain people in so obtaining the ticket at this event was a waste of time.nation19_blog_trump2_az

    2. Come Early: We didn’t anticipate the traffic and got stuck for along time just trying to get close enough to walk. Later we found out the Trump protestors blocked the highway. (salute!…wait)
      nation19_blog_trump_traffic_az

    3. Be careful where you park: We initially parked with all the rest of the cars behind some businesses but a white guy told us to move our vehicle or he’ll have it towed…only us. We moved the car and found a public spot very close. Next time we may Uber our way there and back.

    4. Trump supporters are almost all Caucasian people who express they are fed up with the current state of US economy all the way to border security. They tend to blame allot on Native, Mexican, Liberals, Muslims and Black people. Almost every Trump supporter we encountered just wants the OLD America…whatever that is.
    5. Trump Protestors/demonstrators (Arizona) are comprised of Native American, White, Black, Mexican, Muslims and are typically young. The main objective of the protestors was to show solidarity against Trump’s rhetoric and inflammatory speeches. In attendance were representatives from Puente Arizona, #BlackLivesMatter, and UniteHere (Who have been following Trump demanding equal rights to form a union at the Trump Hotel in Vegas). nation19_blog_trump_az

    6. The Police were not biased. We were waiting for them to act crazy or side with Trump supporters but we didn’t see that all yesterday. However, they were ready and dressed in riot gear.

    7. The Clashes: Every clash we filmed and saw was fueled by the Trump supporters instigating the protestors. We also saw some KKK thug type individuals among the crowd agitating the Trump demonstrators. Most of the clashes were verbal and non violent unlike the rallies we saw on the news. Things could have been worse but none of the Trump supporters seemed willing to go that far yesterday.

What we learned: Trump rallies are a small peek into the mindset of America. At times It felt like we were at a KKK rally in Mississippi. Trump can’t fix America and neither could Obama. You get a sense of prophecy after watching young white men spit at and call Black and Native people racial slurs for 3 hours. For poor people, and non whites, America hasn’t changed since the 60’s and things WILL get worse with either Trump, Bernie, or Hillary in the office. Sorry.

“I do not see how we will ever solve the turbulent problem of race confronting our nation until there is an honest confrontation with it and a willing search for the truth and a willingness to admit the truth when we discover it. – Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. – Grosse Pointe High School – March 14, 1968

Actual facts about Police violence against black people in 2015.

In 2015 the actual facts about the ongoing killings of unarmed black people by police in the US is more than alarming. So many lives lost. We get a ton of mail from people telling us that the police are just doing their job in high crime areas but in the facts below its the data proves otherwise.

Click on the red keys on the interactive map to view more info on a particular city.

  • In 2014, 1 in 3 U.S. police killings happened in the 100 largest cities.
  • Black people were 21% of the population and 40% of people killed by police in these cities.
  • Most unarmed people killed by police in major U.S. cities were black (56%). Fewer than 1 in 5 (19%) were white.
  • An unarmed black person living in these cities was 6x more likely than an unarmed white person to be killed by police. An unarmed black person was almost as likely as an armed white person to be killed by police.
  • The Police Homicide rate for black men in 17 cities is higher than the U.S. homicide rate. Black men in these cities have a higher chance of being killed by police than the average American has of being killed by anyone.
  • Black men in six cities face a higher chance of being killed by police than the average American has of being killed in a car accident.

Watch the the Fall of America! issue #07

Indigenous cultures are ofttimes portrayed as a primitive people of the past, when in reality they are a people of pride, articulate manners, elaborate courtesy, and spirituality that had a love and respect for the land. There was no need to teach these people the importance of self sustainability, for that was the foundation of their well being. These people did not disappear, in fact each one of us represents in someway, shape or fashion an indigenous culture. Find out how you relate to these forgotten and sometimes belittled civilizations in the Nation19 Magazine Fall of America Issue #07. Watch and share our true history! #APDTA

Why USA, FRANCE, ISRAEL, UK, EU hates Syria, Iran, Libya, and North Korea!

Notice that with every “attack” YOU have fewer RIGHTS yet the terrorists are NEVER stopped. We were trying to think of a mental picture of the country of Syria…and we could’t. Why? It’s a beautiful country with a rich history that most Americans know nothing about. So why do we suppose to hate them? We found some facts of why USA, FRANCE, ISRAEL, UK, EU hates Syria.

1) Syria’s Central Bank is state-owned & controlled – In other words, it manages its national currency so that it serves the Syrian people and not the Rothschild-controlled global bankers operating from their New York, London, Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, Basel and Paris hideouts.

This means that the volume of currency it issues is in proper sync with the true needs of real economy of work, labor, production and all that is useful to Syria’s people.

By artificially distorting the volume of ‘public currency’ issued by sovereign central banks that generates no interest, countries are thus forced to resort to high interest bearing ‘private currency’ (loans) handled by the monopolistic private bankster cabal in the hands of Rothschild, Rockefeller, Warburg, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, CitiCorp, JP Morgan Chase interests.

syria_family
2) Syria has no International Monetary Fund debt.
This means that Syria’s leadership understands that the IMF – a public multilateral agency of member governments – is controlled by the global mega-bankers, and acts as their auditor and debt collection police whenever one of its weaker member states runs into sovereign debt trouble, which is another way of saying when those countries reach a point where they cannot siphon enough money out of their real economies – the work, toil and labor of its people – to hand it over to the parasitic private global bankers.

In a sense, the IMF’s real job is to act as the global power elite’s tax office – its ‘IRS’so to speak – only that it does not tax people directly, but rather through proxy government and nation-states’ tax offices. Are we starting to understand the real roots of the ‘debt crises’ hitting Greece, Cyprus, Ireland, Argentina, Spain, Italy, UK, US, Portugal, France?

Actually, true Islamic nations rightly reject banking fractional lending and interest practices as being immoral.  That’s what Libya’s Gaddafi did, and what Syria and Iran presently do.

3) Syria has banned genetically modified (GMO) seeds – Bashar Assad banned GMO’s in order “to preserve human health,” knowing full well that the Monsantos of this world are out to control the world’s entire food supply, because coming global crises will not only be about oil, but about how much food countries will be able to put on their people’s tables.

That’s why after invading Iraq, the US ordered that only Monsanto seeds should to be used.  That’s why submissive client states like Argentina are poisoning their own soil and people by bowing down really low to Monsanto’s demands.

Check out the “Food & Health issue of Nation19 Magazine

syria2
4) Syria’s population is well informed about the New World Order
 – Its media and universities openly debate the global power elite’s influence in things. This means that they fully grasp the fact that real power in the West lies not in the White House, 10 Downing Street, Congress or Parliament, but rather with the complex and powerful grid of elite think-tanks led by New York’s Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Conference, Trilateral Commission, Americas Society, World Economic forum and London’s Royal Institute of International Affairs, which interact with mega-bankers, media, universities, the military, multinationals and the corporate over-world.

Syrians dare to talk about secret societies like Freemasonry or Yale University’s Skull & Bone Lodge whose members include top cats like former President George W Bush and current Secretary of State John Kerry.

syria_beach
5) Syria has massive oil and gas reserves
 – Every time the West goes to war to protect “freedom, human rights and democracy,” there’s always the nauseous stench of oil; whether in Iraq, Libya, Kuwait, the Falklands, Afghanistan, Venezuela … Syria has offshore and onshore oil and gas reserves, and is helping to build a massive pipeline together with Iran, but without Western oil giants’ control. Clearly, the full militarization of all oil production and reserve zones, and the militarization of transportation routes to ‘bring oil home’ from everywhere in the world, is a key on-going joint US/UK strategy.

6) Syria opposes Zionism and Israel and Palestinian apartheid – Israel practices criminal racist apartheid against the occupied Palestinians. Syria’s leadership has no qualms in accusing Israel of being what it is: a racist, imperialist, genocidal entity, as the Wall of Hate Israel erected around Palestine clearly shows. Israel manages what can only be described as an Auschwitz-like mega-concentration camp in Palestine with millions of ill-treated, often-assassinated and humiliated prisoners.

Such geopolitical clarity of mind was shared by Gadhafi’s Libya and Saddam’s Iraq, and today also by Iran, China, Russia and India.

AIPAC (American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee), the World Jewish Congress, the ADL (Anti-Defamation League), Likud, Kadima and Netanyahu/Lieberman to want to take out Syria.

7) Syria is one of the last secular Muslim states in the Middle East, whilst Zionist Jewish supremacists – in line with born-again-Israel-First-Bushite ‘Christian’kooks in the West – need for everybody to align to the will of their dark demiurge god which has its own ‘chosen people’.

The Global Power Elite’s implicit order is clear: everybody must believe in Israeli superiority, whilst our young Syrian friend aptly points out that Syria, like Saddam’s Iraq, Gaddafi’s Libya and Iran just could not be convinced of that.

She adds that in Syria, “asking about religion is not polite,” because Syria has bred many of mankind’s prime religions for thousands of years, and those millennia have taught Syrians to be sensitive, tolerant and respectful of all creeds. Something we clearly do not see in the pro-West Arabian sheikdoms, nor in the US, UK and EU with its anti-Islamic paranoia, and where laws are passed imposing the most blatant cultural, political and historical lies demanded by religious bigots who insist that their god will only accept their own holocaust offerings.

8) Like North Korea, Syria maintains and protects its political and cultural identity – she stresses how Syria “holds on to its uniqueness,” whilst respecting the uniqueness of others. The standardized coming world government simply abhors anybody standing up to its imposed standardization of thought, behavior and ‘values’, where the West’s global megabrands, shopping malls, and fashion & style dictatorships “makes every place look pretty much the same, which leads to a very boring world.”

Today, revolutionary thought in the West even amongst the young, boils down to choosing between Coke and Pepsi.

Coke, Pepsi, McDonalds, Levis, Lauder, Planet Hollywood and Burger King to want to take out Syria.

Check out this young Syrian woman who posted these facts back in 2012

Peace. #APDTA #nation19

Why every Rapper should observe Ramadan

A celebrity customer called us and wanted to buy the new Pillars Tee but was kinda worried about rocking it because he wasn’t a Muslim. We explained that although the shirt is made for people observing Ramadan, the significance can be practiced by anyone with a little discipline.

Here is how everyone, even Rappers can observe Ramadan, still stay fresh, and not be Muslim…..of course if you are not Muslim already. lol

Ramadan starts this month on June 17th and will continue for 30 days until or around Friday, the 17th of July.

Faith: Belief in God or a Supreme Being is at the center of all beliefs both ancient and modern. God may go by different names (Allah, Elohim, Jehovah, Tagaloa) but no person should be praised but the Lord of the Universe. So, not praising your favorite sports figure could wait for a month…lol

Prayer
rappers_need ramadan_pray

Prayer:
Since you can’t text God (unless you have Rakim’s cell phone) you must learn to communicate with The Creator. The more you you communicate the better the relationship gets. Muslims perform five prayers a day. Each prayer does not take more than a few minutes to perform. The real science of prayer in all religions is a direct link between the individual and God. During Ramadan you will be praying with Billions of Muslims, Christians, and Hebrews together.

Charity
rappers_need ramadan_charity

Charity:
For 30 days lets try being charitable to the people who might be buying your next single. It’s not about giving money away but you can give a little bit of your time. Volunteer at a shelter or helping children. Remember all things belong to God, and wealth is therefore held by human beings in trust. The original meaning of the word Charity in Arabic is zakat which means both ‘purification’ and ‘growth.’

Fasting
rappers_need ramadan_fasting
Fasting:
Its not just about abstaining from food, drink, sexual and relations during the sunlight hours, but also avoiding lewd TV programs, lewd movies, music with cursing, fighting, and arguing during this time. If that is too hard and your’e just not “bout that life” try going vegetarian and avoiding anything that is toxic to your body and not uplifting your mind. The goal is to be discipline and to grow.

During Ramadan Muslims fast (no eating or drinking) from dawn until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations, yes…really. Facts: Fasting is the best way to cure most sickness, repair vital organs, and is beneficial to health.

Pilgrimage:
Knowledge of Self is the key to life. During this time pick up a book or magazine about your culture or history and become an expert. If you can, talk to an elder in your family and gain a better perspective about your family history and the ancestors who paved a way for you to be here.

Write about your experience: After showing a little discipline with food, giving charity, studying yourself, no cursing, and avoiding arguments and fights, you may be at a creative high! Put your thoughts in a verse and send it to us (get[at]nation19dotcom) in July and we may pay you to use it in our next film or commercial! … if its dope lol

They lie, they spy, they scare…and most likely they are watching you read this article? (NSA)

Although today marks the day that the US government (NSA) will supposedly stop collecting telephone metadata on millions of Americans, we think its all a big trick.  Most US citizens didn’t know the government was illegally spying on them by and using fear to take your rights until former NSA contractor Edward Snowden leaked classified documents and fled the US in 2013. Ironically spying on its citizens is the same tactics that the USA accuses unfavorable countries such as Iran and North Korea of doing.

A FEW FACTS: (from leaked classified documents we now know that)

The National Security Agency (NSA) collects every call made in the US, the time of the call, the duration of the call, and the number called EVERY DAY!
They track your credit card payments.
They collect and store 200 million text messages a day!
They can even access smartphone app data.
They can decrypt private phone conversations.
They monitor all your social networks…ALL.
They collect data from online gaming.
They can even hack into computers that are OFFLINE!
They convert your phone call conversations into searchable text.
The NSA can brand you as a terrorist based on a Facebook post.
NSA spies more on Americans than on other countries.
They are more powerful than the FBI and the CIA combined.
They create digital viruses and Malware applications and some have been placed in the Google app store.
They use key words such as Allah to start surveilling your conversations.

Congresswoman talks about NSA and gets interrupted by a diversion…unbelievable.

“There are vast programs of both domestic and international spying that the world will be shocked to learn about, that the NSA is engaged in with no democratic accountability.” – Glenn Greenwald

According to a recent study, the majority of Americans believe that preserving the rights of US citizens is more important than preventing terrorist attacks. Since the NSA revelations, Americans have become more opposed to government surveillance that infringes on civil liberties.

In 1995 the Atalanta Hip Hop group Goodie Mob released a song called Cell Therapy.
This song was kinda prophetic. Peep.

Lyrics
“Who’s that peeking in my window….POW! Nobody now!
Me and my family moved in our apartment complex
A gate with the serial code was put up next
The claim that this community is so drug free
But it don’t look that way to me cause I can see
The young bloods hanging out at the sto 24/7
Junkies looking, for a hit of the blow, it’s powerful
Oh you know what else they tryin to do
Make a curfew especially for me and you the
Traces of the new world order
Time is getting shorter if we don’t get prepared
People it’s gone be a slaughter
My mind won’t allow me to not be curious
My folk don’t understand so they don’t take it serious

But every now and then, I wonder
If the gate was put up to keep crime out or to
Keep our ass in.”
