Did the Christmas Boycott lead to Walmart store closures?

Full list of Walmart store closures across America

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (WMT: NYSE) today announced plans to close 269 stores in the U.S. and globally.

October 2015, initiated a nationwide boycott of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas Shopping. As part of the 20th year anniversary of the Million Man March (Justice Or Else) the boycott came as a direct response to police killings of unarmed US Black citizens. Hashtags such #redistributethepain, #upwithJesusDownwithsanta, and #christmasiscancelled were shared on Instagram Facebook and Twitter. Nation19 produced a 3 part commercial to also help spread the anti holiday spirit.

Doug McMillon, president and CEO, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. said  “Closing stores is never an easy decision, but it is necessary to keep the company strong and positioned for the future…the decision to close stores is difficult and we care about the associates who will be impacted,” McMillon said. “We invested considerable time assessing our stores and clubs and don’t take this lightly. We are supporting those impacted with extra pay and support, and we will take all appropriate steps to ensure they are treated well.”

Store Closings/Openings

As part of today’s action, the company will close 154 locations in the U.S., including the company’s 102 smallest format stores, Walmart Express, which had been in pilot since 2011.

Actual facts about Police violence against black people in 2015.

In 2015 the actual facts about the ongoing killings of unarmed black people by police in the US is more than alarming. So many lives lost. We get a ton of mail from people telling us that the police are just doing their job in high crime areas but in the facts below its the data proves otherwise.

Click on the red keys on the interactive map to view more info on a particular city.

  • In 2014, 1 in 3 U.S. police killings happened in the 100 largest cities.
  • Black people were 21% of the population and 40% of people killed by police in these cities.
  • Most unarmed people killed by police in major U.S. cities were black (56%). Fewer than 1 in 5 (19%) were white.
  • An unarmed black person living in these cities was 6x more likely than an unarmed white person to be killed by police. An unarmed black person was almost as likely as an armed white person to be killed by police.
  • The Police Homicide rate for black men in 17 cities is higher than the U.S. homicide rate. Black men in these cities have a higher chance of being killed by police than the average American has of being killed by anyone.
  • Black men in six cities face a higher chance of being killed by police than the average American has of being killed in a car accident.

Bill Cosby arrested, Sandra Bland hung, Tamir Rice shot, the Modern Day Lynching?

Three Major court cases took place over the past few weeks. The arrest of Bill Cosby, the Sandra Bland case, and Tamir Rice case.
The Sandra Bland case where an innocent black woman was pulled over in Texas, abused by the arresting cop, and was mysteriously found hung in a jail cell with no indictment to the police department. The Tamir Rice case, where a 12 year old black boy was legally murdered in seconds by a police officer, and no indictment for the officer(s). And now the highly publicized arrest of Bill Cosby with a million dollar bail. The prosecutor even took Cosby’s passport so he could not leave the country. With unproven allegations, the endless reputation slaughter, slander, and arrest has diminished the legacy of ” Mr Bill Cosby  ” and taken him through the mud unlike white celebrities actually found guilty of acts of pedophilia, and rape. These are all examples of modern day lynchings… some cold blooded murder, and for our prestigious role models, the murder of a legacy.

No wonder Lebron James is so afraid to speak out. When asked about Tamir Rice he said “and to be honest, I haven’t really been on top of this issue.” Really dude? Tamir was killed a year ago and headlined in the news with national protests and you still don’t know about it? If you have a job that makes you afraid to stand up for your own people, then you are just another modern day slave.. and one day you will be on the name slaughter list just like our other greats. Athletes like Muhammad Ali and Jim Brown were much greater influences in there time and had all the peoples love because they stood up for the people.

On June 4, 1967 outstanding Black athletes gathered in the offices of the Black Economic Union in Cleveland, Ohio to support Muhammad Ali’s famously refused induction into the U.S. military.

Some may say, why should people expect so much from an athlete? Well, the answer is we don’t expect anything from an athlete, we expect something from a black father who has children, and we expect from a black man who will stand up for his own kind instead of using his influence to sell bacon burgers! I mean c’mon son!
So instead of standing up for your people, you promote toxic food that is killing your people.. #SMDH

So we have all the slavery roles in modern times including the lynchings, the house Negro, Masa, and Nat Turner (Nation19 Magazine/APDTA). Don’t let yourself be categorized as the next modern day house negro. Remember, a man or woman who stands for nothing, will fall for anything, and will eventually cause a domino effect. So stand up!  #APDTA

‘Tis the season to Boycott!

As Black Friday nears we are all the more ready to Boycott! This is only the beginning! Don’t worry, we got the right ammo you need for the entire holiday season! ‘Tis’ the Season to Boycott!

People love Christmas. They are more willing to spend money during the Christmas holiday season than any time of the year. It is this innate joy that we get when we think about Christmas. We are reminded of spending time with our loved ones, of hanging up decorations as a family and giving gifts to those that we love.
We hear a rendition of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and like clockwork, our wallets open. We are unknowingly giving in to an intense marketing scheme to make us spend money, not to spread Christmas cheer.

While consumers are excited about the prospect of the holiday season, our ingrained materialism kicks into overdrive. Big businesses are aware of this.
We are being physiologically and emotionally bombarded and hypmotised into walking talking shopping zombies.

“..Its possible to brainwash, manipulate, coherse people to do just about anything and we see this demonstrated in military training..” says Paul McKenna, Ph.D. a professional Hypnotist. “..they do things way out side the parameters of what we would consider moral..” There is a reason these corporations hire trained professional hypnotist and phycologist.

So don’t let your family become victims of the holiday season. ‘Tis the season to #boycott!! Share this campaign/video with family and friends and let them know #Christmasiscancelled Don’t get played while Big corporations get paid. #APDTA

Christmas is Cancelled campaign for National Boycott. (JusticeOrElse)

Christmas has become the most wonderful time of the year for corporate companies. Every end of the year they can’t wait to see you rush to buy their products. Its all a big marketing scheme to open up emotional vulnerabilities that make people feel that without their products they are defective. Corporations hire phsycologist to sell what is essentially the same product every year. Consumers are emotionally and phycologically inclined to buy during this time because “its the season of giving” when in reality it is the season of buying. Christmas has become nothing but bait, laid out for certain types of consumers and since the black consumer market has reached $1 trillion this year, its safe to say the bait is laid out for us.

This year we are killing the bait, the pole, and the fisherman by canceling Christmas. Similar to the way you would cancel a check lol No we are not saying to stop any religious beliefs, but stopping a habit that has turned into a mindless shopping ritual centered on an old fat bearded guy with elves, reindeer, and dead trees is what we are saying lol.

So share this commercial because #ChristmasIsCanceled #APDTA

Officer beats and throws Black youth in her classroom: Is this child abuse?

A South Carolina sheriff’s deputy attacked a young black female high school student Spring Valley High School in Columbia.

Watch the video and you will see a school resource officer asking a student to get out of her seat. He then stands over her desk and tells the student, “either you’re coming with me or I’ll make you.” within a split second this animal grabs her and flips her over, slamming her onto the cement floor.

Then he drags her out of her chair and throws her across the room, as students watch but looking frightened. The deputy then pins her down on her stomach as he puts her hands behind her back. He tells another student, “I’ll put you in jail next.”

The officer was identified as Ben Fields.

Our sources say that this officer has a history of roughing up students.

Fields is listed on the Richland County sheriff’s department’s website as a senior deputy assigned to Spring Valley High School. On his now-deleted Twitter page, he described himself as football coach for the school’s defensive line, and a strength coach.

The Richland County sheriff’s department said it’s aware of the situation and currently investigating the attack. So far he has not been suspended or reprimanded.

In 2007, this officer Ben Fields was sued by a couple after another rough arrest in 2005.

Fields emptied a can of pepper spray on Carlos Martin, who parked next to him, according to court documents. The two started arguing after Martin was allegedly playing loud music, court documents showed. Fields arrested him.

During that arrest, Martin’s wife, Tashiana, took photos of the arrest, but Fields had his partner take her phone. She said the deputies threw her against a car and arrested her as well.

The couple sued the officer for illegal seizure, false arrest, excessive force and battery. The sheriff’s deputy claimed Tashiana ran toward the two officers swinging her arms while attempting to kick an officer in the head, according to court records. She denied the officer’s allegations.

Carlos said deputy Fields had kneed him several times after slamming him on the ground. Court documents said he suffered from post traumatic stress disorder after the arrest.

If Dylann Roof was Black

On June 17, a young, white male gunman opened fire inside a predominantly black Charleston church, killing at least nine people who gathered inside for a prayer group. The man identified as the shooter—21-year-old Dylann Storm Roof—was apprehended 14 hours later in North Carolina.

But if he was Black it would have been a different story:
A Black Man with a long criminal record of drug possession with possible ties to terrorist organizations and/or street gangs killed 9 innocent people at a Church in Charleston. The 21-year-old was shot 114 times by Police while seated in the vehicle after he refused to show identification 14 hours later in North Carolina.

Well since he is not black we researched some facts about this Terrorist  Murderous drug dealing white supremacist.

He was a Criminal with a record:
Arrested for felony drug possession and once for trespassing. Via the New York Times:

He was reportedly out on bond for the felony drug charge at the time of the shooting.

He’s Openly Racist:
His license plate has three Confederate flags on it.

Seen posing in the woods wearing a jacket with flags from both apartheid-era South Africa and the former white supremacist state of Rhodesia.

He Told People He Was Planning a Massacre
According to the New York Daily News, Roof told friends he was planning a massacre—but they say they thought he was joking because he had a “deadpan sense of humor.”

He had a Message to the Blackmen at the Church.
“You rape our women and you’re taking over our country. And you have to go.”

He was not thrown to the ground, kicked, punched, tasered, pepper sprayed, or shot:
Roof managed to elude capture for almost 14 hours following the shooting. He was finally apprehended around 11 a.m., 250 miles from Charleston.

Police initiated a traffic stop after a call about a suspicious vehicle.
Roof—who was armed—was taken into custody without major incident. Later he was seen wearing a bullet proof vest to protect him.

EXTRA:

One of the 9 killed was Reverend Clementa Pinckney, a South Carolina state Senator and the pastor of the Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, South Carolina

Why every Rapper should observe Ramadan

A celebrity customer called us and wanted to buy the new Pillars Tee but was kinda worried about rocking it because he wasn’t a Muslim. We explained that although the shirt is made for people observing Ramadan, the significance can be practiced by anyone with a little discipline.

Here is how everyone, even Rappers can observe Ramadan, still stay fresh, and not be Muslim…..of course if you are not Muslim already. lol

Ramadan starts this month on June 17th and will continue for 30 days until or around Friday, the 17th of July.

Faith: Belief in God or a Supreme Being is at the center of all beliefs both ancient and modern. God may go by different names (Allah, Elohim, Jehovah, Tagaloa) but no person should be praised but the Lord of the Universe. So, not praising your favorite sports figure could wait for a month…lol

Prayer
rappers_need ramadan_pray

Prayer:
Since you can’t text God (unless you have Rakim’s cell phone) you must learn to communicate with The Creator. The more you you communicate the better the relationship gets. Muslims perform five prayers a day. Each prayer does not take more than a few minutes to perform. The real science of prayer in all religions is a direct link between the individual and God. During Ramadan you will be praying with Billions of Muslims, Christians, and Hebrews together.

Charity
rappers_need ramadan_charity

Charity:
For 30 days lets try being charitable to the people who might be buying your next single. It’s not about giving money away but you can give a little bit of your time. Volunteer at a shelter or helping children. Remember all things belong to God, and wealth is therefore held by human beings in trust. The original meaning of the word Charity in Arabic is zakat which means both ‘purification’ and ‘growth.’

Fasting
rappers_need ramadan_fasting
Fasting:
Its not just about abstaining from food, drink, sexual and relations during the sunlight hours, but also avoiding lewd TV programs, lewd movies, music with cursing, fighting, and arguing during this time. If that is too hard and your’e just not “bout that life” try going vegetarian and avoiding anything that is toxic to your body and not uplifting your mind. The goal is to be discipline and to grow.

During Ramadan Muslims fast (no eating or drinking) from dawn until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations, yes…really. Facts: Fasting is the best way to cure most sickness, repair vital organs, and is beneficial to health.

Pilgrimage
rappers_need ramadan_weezey

Pilgrimage:
Knowledge of Self is the key to life. During this time pick up a book or magazine about your culture or history and become an expert. If you can, talk to an elder in your family and gain a better perspective about your family history and the ancestors who paved a way for you to be here.

Write about your experience: After showing a little discipline with food, giving charity, studying yourself, no cursing, and avoiding arguments and fights, you may be at a creative high! Put your thoughts in a verse and send it to us (get[at]nation19dotcom) in July and we may pay you to use it in our next film or commercial! … if its dope lol

Is Michael Kors a racist? You be the judge.

Is Michael Kors a racist? Here are 3 reasons why you may not want to wear Micheal Kors purses anymore:

Number 1: He doesn’t support Black causes or charities. Why should he? Well the majority of his customers are black women and giving back to the people who made you a millionaire is the right thing to do.

I know he’s a business man and he does’n€™t care about the women buying his purses. Unlike Tommy Hilfiger, who made a conscious effort to connect to hip-hop celebrities and by extension communities of color, Michael Kors has made no attempt to reach a diverse clientele.

I know you’re thinking about the campaign with Halle Berry€, but that was so wack. Buy a teeshirt from him and after you buy his tee, he’s going to feed some children… He’s a Billionaire he doesn’t  need us to buy t-shirts to give. Why not donate from the billions of dollars he makes daily from purses? Or why not feed the children in Brooklyn or other inner cities where the majority of his clientele are?

A Month before he decided to be so charitable A New York Times article pointed out that the Micheal Kors purses which are primarily purchased exclusively by black women are routinely locked up unlike the other brands. I guess he has to protect his bags from all those black women who are spending hundreds of dollars buying them?

Number 2: His designs are not original.

Take a look at the Louis Vuton “€œNeverfull” purse compared to the Michael kors “Jet set travel Tote”€. Look familiar?

And Instead of spending $50,000+ on a pink Hermes Birkin bag made from pink ostrich leather, you can get the bite from Michael Kors Hamilton Large North South Tote.

And look at the Michael Kors, Chanel bite….. Im surprised this guy is not in a lawsuit lol

And Number 3: Michael Kors advertising campaigns generally show no black people or people of color….ever!

He uses White Country Club scenes showing the rich elite in private jets and yachts.. A major contrast to his actual consumers. According to Ebony, Jet, two of the top leading african american publications, he has never advertised in either one.

With Michelle Obama wearing his dress in her official white house picture its no wonder how he got so popular with black women.

Now check out this purse called the inside Job by Nation19. It’s hand made in the United States with durable materials and made by a black designer. It is available by clicking the link and we have a special for Mothers Day. It’s available in Black and White!
