Hollywood is the new News…are we all watching or reading Channel Zero?

Hollywood is the new news. By nation19 magazine / APDTA

Is Hollywood the new News? Are we watching made up entertainment instead of real reporting of facts?

Earlier this month we dropped our new magazine (Nation19 Magazine issue #4) with an exclusive interview with CIA whistler blower Michael Ruppert. We were blocked in every possible angle to delete or completely drop the story. We even pitched the story to your favorite Black Newspaper…. they never got back to us. To make sure the interview saw the light of day we submitted a press release via PR News Wire (The world’s largest network for over 60 years).

This is what we were told to do in order to be distributed.

Nation19 Magazine being Censored
Nation19 Magazine being Censored

Is the news being Censored by people with an agenda or motives not in the public’s interest? You can judge for yourself.

This is part 1 of a fake news report from 1991 supposedly in Riyad, Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War..but this is all filmed in the CNN studios in Atlanta GA. This is the rehearsal clip.
notice at exactly :56 seconds you see on the fake missile “Larry King Show or Bust”

This is part 2 of a fake news report from 1991 supposedly in Riyad, Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War..but this is all filmed in the CNN studios in Atlanta GA. This is what aired live to US viewers. Reporter Chris Jayco panics and puts on a gas mask acting like a nerve agent has been released. FAKE

Since it’s #TBT we added this for all the Hip hop Heads:

You’re blind from the facts on who you are

The Clothing Line Commandments: Part 1, The set up

Ever since we started Nation19.com I have received a ton of request from some really cool people needing help on starting a clothing line. Below is A step-by-step booklet for you to get
Your game on track, if your line aint wack. (In my Biggie voice) lol, jk

The Clothing Line Commandments.

A good name is better than Gold
Think of a unique name for your company and register the company, domain and Trademark.
Once you have that perfect name you need to determine the legal structure of your line. Decide which form of ownership is best for you: sole proprietorship, partnership, Limited Liability Company (LLC), corporation, S corporation, nonprofit or cooperative. As you can see there are many types of business structures so do a little research on what works best for you. For Nation19, the umbrella of a LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) worked best for us.

Protect your Neck.
Registering a trademark is a complex legal process that may be overwhelming. If you are not familiar with this process you should consider hiring an attorney. The filing fee for a trademark is $325 in the US. Attorney’s will charge an additional fee for the TEAS search and the registration. For the trademark plan on spending $750 – $1500 depending on the attorney fees. Our Creative director started in fashion by working with The Godfather of Urban fashion, Karl Kani. One of the first things Karl Kani had him do is research on all the bootleggers using his name illegally.

Domain Name (wwww.yourcompanyname.com)
A domain name is the unique name that identifies your website. Stay away from names that are hard to spell, like www.2irnup.net (that’s really a terrible name anyway…lol). Many 4-5 letter names have already been taken years ago so just because you think www.turnup.com is a great name, someone else has probably grabbed that name a long time ago (Actually it’s available for $10,000). Domain names usually cost about $10 a year. Go Daddy is a good place to get a domain name.

Do your research and find good manufactures.
Whatever you do stay away from Zazzle, or Cafe Press.

Design, design, design
If you are NOT a designer hire a quality designer to create your designs.
A good designer and great design can be the difference between celebrities buying your Tee Shirts and wearing it on MTV or just your favorite Uncle wearing your T-Shirts walking around Home Depot only because he just loves you.

Don’t Bite.
Be Original. Inspiration from Nike’s new colors for winter is ok, but making shirts that say Just Do It® will get you in trouble and possibly in jail.

IMPORTANT: You can’t use photos or artwork that is not yours on T-shirts. You must obtain a license from the copyright owner in order to print and sell t-shirts.

Don't Do iT

Set up a real website.
Try and avoid the free websites like http://www.wix.com. This is your window to the world use it wisely.

It’s not all about the Benjamin’s Baby!
Remember It’s a business, so treat it like a business. Most businesses DON’T make a profit for a few years. So don’t quit your day job or drop out of school just yet. This is a marathon…NOT a sprint. Be creative, network, build real relationships and get out to the public.

Don’t be a sellout. Buy something™
To see what Im talking about in action go to www.nation19.com/shop and buy a shirt or snap back. All our store items are all on sale until they’re gone with free shipping.

Stay tuned for part 2 coming soon.

But what about Iron Eyes Cody? The Controvesy of Pharrell’s ELLE cover #APDTA

While reading all the hype about Pharrell Williams wearing a Native American headdress I started to think…but what about Iron Eyes Cody? Did you know that the Indian Chief we all cried with on TV back in the days was not an indian let alone a Chief? If there was and outcry from his acting it wasn’t talked about in the media. In our opinion Pharrell has as much right to wear a headdress as much as George Bush and John Wayne has a right to wear a cowboy hat (if you didn’t know the Cowboy hat originated in Mexico). #APDTA

Here is the heartfelt commercial.

Publication Nation19 Magazine publishes exclusive interview with late CIA whistleblower, Michael C. Ruppert

Phoenix, Ariz June 4th 2014. Nation19 Magazine has decided to publish an unreleased interview with the recently deceased CIA whistleblower and investigative reporter, Michael C. Ruppert. “The Man Who Knew Too Much” will be available in the summer issue of Nation19 Magazine.

While researching the effects of Fukushima radiation in the Pacific Ocean, Nation19 reached out to Mr. Ruppert. This led to a discussion in unrelated topics and, ultimately, a feature on Mr. Ruppert. In the piece, he shares details ranging from the CIA’s alleged intelligence activities in regards to drug smuggling to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. This interview was recorded by phone on September 25th, 2013 while Mr. Ruppert resided in Moffat, Colo.

Excited to send the final version of the magazine to the author prior to its release, Nation19 was shocked to hear that Mr. Ruppert died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 13th, 2014 according to Napa County Sheriffs.

“Because of the sensitive information he knew, we were very hesitant to release the interview because of all the controversy,” said Hakeem Khaaliq, Nation19 co-founder.

In light of recent media coverage surrounding Edward Snowden’s release of classified material and temporary asylum in Russia, Nation19 decided to run Michael Ruppert’s interview in their new issue for public scrutiny. The magazine will be available for purchase at Nation19.com on Wednesday, June 4th in standard-size print and digital formats. The audio will be available at a later date.
